Clear Water Pools (CWP) is a management company of Homeowner Association and Country Club aquatic facilities located in the western suburbs of Chicago (Pingree Grove to Naperville). CWP is responsible for hiring, training, and managing approximately 200 employees each pool season, as well as maintaining the mechanical operations of each facility.

Service Crew Member
Apply February for start date in April
Clear Water Pools hire service crew members to assist with opening swimming pools for the season throughout the Naperville and surrounding areas. The work is very labor intensive and you will be working with chemicals and power equipment. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. An ideal candidate is someone who is not afraid to get dirty and is willing to work long hours. Crews will be given assignments and tasks and are expected to complete the work in a timely and efficient manner. You will be required to work 6 days a week if needed.
Lifeguard
Apply January through mid April for start date in May (training can start in April)
Clear Water Pools hire Lifeguards to work at community aquatic facilities throughout far west suburbs of Chicago during the pool season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Lifeguards must be 16 years of age and become certified in CPR, water rescue, and basic first aid (StarGuard courses are available through Clear Water Pools). Duties include not only using life saving skills when needed but also maintaining a safe, clean and friendly environment. You are required to perform cleaning duties both for the pool and pool house. An ideal candidate is someone who is eager to help others, friendly, willing to learn and are committed to a season of working outside. Good communication skills are required. We are flexible with schedules and train in CPR, first aid, and water rescue. You will also be trained in basic maintenance of the pool facility. No prior experience is necessary.
Pool Manager and Assistant Managers
Apply January through March for start date in May (training can start in April)
Clear Water Pools hire Managers to maintain community aquatic facilities and to manager a staff of Lifeguards. You must be available mid May or earlier for training and to assist in pool facility preparation. Managers must become a certified pool operator and StarGuard lifeguard Instructor certified (courses are available through Clear Water Pools). Duties include training of staff to duties of the facility, training of staff to lifeguard skills, maintaining proper water chemistry, preparing and confirming schedule of staff, attending manager meetings, working 4-5 days per week at facility, and creating a welcoming and positive environment for staff and residents of facility. An ideal candidate is eager to learn, able to communicate well, is organized, has leadership qualities and a positive attitude, and finally, is committed to a summer working at an outdoor pool! Prior lifeguarding experience is not necessary but helpful.
Swim Lesson Instructor
Apply January through April for start date in June
Clear Water Pools hire Swim Lesson Instructors to teach morning group lessons and private lessons at HOA facilities. Clear Water Pools provide training under the Starfish Swimming program. All instructors must be Starfish Swimming certified (Clear Water Pools provides training). Instructors will work teach students at all skill levels and ages. Candidates must love working with children, able to communicate effectively, can adapt to situations, be patient, and have positive energy. Swim Lesson Instructors tend to be Clear Water Pools lifeguards.
